Mattie Phifer and Catherine Brickley, founding Members of the Sensible Pumps (from Charleston, SC).  Join host Dan Harrison to hear what it was like for the Pumps when they played at Jackson Station in the 1980s.

After learning how the Pumps formed and discovered Jackson Station, we hear Mattie tell her the story of being at the club on that fateful night in April of 1990 when Gerald Jackson was viciously attacked with a bush ax in the parking lot and left for dead.

We hear what the Pumps are up to these days and get some perspective on what Jackson Station means to them and how they’ve carried their memories of the club with them to this day.
